First quarter is ending tomorrow. It has gone by quickly and we have covered a lot of information.
In technology, we have been looking at a Flicker Web 2.0 tool, Big Huge Labs. Have your students show you how to make a cool magazine cover.
Don't forget Free Rice. This site allows you to help build vocabulary, practice multiplication facts and grammar. It earns rice for the world food bank.
The students would like to try and raise money for a charity called Heifer International. Their goal is to raise $250 to purchase a water buffalo for a family. Check out their website. More information will be forthcoming.
